The year 2007 was a great year. I worked a lot and was happy to have had many great opportunities to show my work.

In month of May & June, I showed in “Espace Chatelet Victoria,” a gallery in Paris, France.

In July and October 2007, I showed my kinetic Installation in a great group exhibit in Albuquerque Museum of Art and History, Albuquerque, NM. This showing was the highlight of 2007 for me. The Installation, “Left Behind..”, was my first larger scale installation and it was very successful.

For a few months I was involved with our Town’s first Art Festival. I was one of the Festival Committee members It was a lot of hard work, but we did pull through very successfully and I, being an artist of course, needed to submit a piece to enter. We had two important jurors who had agreed to jury the Art Festival. The jurors were, Mr. Kenneth Baker, the Art critic of the San Francisco Chronicle and Dr. Lynn Orr, the Curator of the European Paintings in San Francisco Fine Art Museums. I was one of the lucky 50 artists who were accepted to the festival, thus I had my first ever Art Festival. Again, it was a lot of work, but it was fun and I did well. Our local Newspaper did a full-page article on me, a local artist. I have included two photos of this event, below.

The last show of 2007 was in prestigious Salmagundi Art Club, Center for American Art, in NYC in October. It was a group show by International Alliance of Women Artists, which I am a member of.

This year, 2008, I am getting ready for other great shows, a “one woman” show in Crashing Thunder Gallery in Gallup, NM, in September and October.

I will be in two group shows, one in a gallery with my group of International Alliance of Women Artists in Gallery Gora , Montreal Canada in September 2008.. The second exhibition will be in Pacific Grove Art Center – Monterey, CA

In March and April, I have a group show in “Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center,” Fort Myers, Florida. I am showing with other members of a group of National artists called: The Society of Layerists in Multi-Media.

I am looking forward to my Open Studio weekend in May 3 &4, 2008. My Studio is located: 237 Round Hill Road, Tiburon, Ca 94920

Marin Arts Council sponsors this annual event and there will be catalogues with maps etc. available in many locations all through Marin County.

Open Studios is one of my favorite and important events. I look forward to talking and interacting with my friends and supporters and everybody is welcome. I will give 30% discount for any art purchased during this period. There will be snacks and plenty of water, juice, and also wine will be served.
